History

1946
Mr. G.A. Flaigg becomes the first supplier of injection- and infusionbottles made of borosilicate glass type I in Europe.

1950
FERMPRESS crimping tools developed by Mr. Müller of Zürich are included in the product line and sold exclusively through G.A. Flaigg company.

1965
The company is turned into a stock corporation. The product line keeps expanding with glass packaging for the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industries. Packaging made of plastic materials are being developed.

1971
The distribution of plastic jars in Switzerland starts with great success.

1991
Plastic bottles for the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic and chemical industries are added to the product line. Today Flaigg AG offers the largest standard assortment of rigid packaging containers.

1996
Mr. Stephan Vogel takes over the Flaigg AG and successfully enhances the services of packaging design and development.

2000
Purchase of Synopac AG, the manufacturer of Fermpress tools and machines, also offers the assembly of packaging components and printing processes on rigid packaging containers.

2003
The cooperation with Vogel Verpackungen AG intensifies.

2006
Acquisition of the extrusion branch of the Säntis J. Göldi AG.
The production plant of Flaigg Plastics AG is founded.
